Virtue Deeds in Forochel

We recommend everyone complete 20 quests for the rank of Empathy the Forochel Survivor deed rewards. Hunters may want to stick around a little longer for the rank of Compassion you get for completing 30 quests. If you are into flipping the control points, tactical classes (Lore-master, Minstrel and Rune-keeper) may be interested in the rank of Wisdom you can earn by visiting all four. Otherwise, come back around level 60 for this when you won't need to kill anything.

Keep in mind that these are only a few of the virtues you can earn in this zone - specifically the ones you'll find useful while leveling and are relatively easy to get. You may want to return later to earn more. See Choosing Your Virtues for more information.

Legendary Deeds

Forochel is one of the zones where pages drop from humanoids for your initial Legendary Trait deeds. Be sure visit your class trainer at level 39 and buy the books that start the deeds. You'll need to visit Rivendell to advance the deed, but then any humanoids you kill in Forochel could drop one of the top four pages for one of your deeds.

The Epic Story and Forochel

Forochel is the setting for Volume I, including Book 13, which was designed for players capped at 50 when released. If you are planning to do all of Book 1, this should give some XP as long as you are within a few levels of level 50.

Crafting Notes and Forochel

Forochel offers Tier 5 ore (Ancient Iron and Ancient Silver) and Exceptional hides throughout the zone. Wood and scholar nodes are scarce. Crafters may want to take advantage of the crafting facilities in the Suri-kyla lodge - with a banker and superior workbench, forge, oven and study, this is as good as it gets before you get to 21st Hall in Moria.

Mobin said...: I did some questing in Kauppa-Kohta area and there were tier 5 ore in that area too, no sign of tier 4 ore. The animals also drops exceptional hides, not pristine.; December 29, 2010 at 1:55 PM
