The Epic Story in The Shire
Although optional, most players complete the Volume 1 Prologue to the epic story. Many people feel the epic story is the best part of the game.Crafting and The Shire
The Shire is an excellent zone to gather Tier 1 Copper and Tin ore, Rowan wood and Light hides. If you need Tier 1 scholar nodes, you'll do better looking in Bree-land, specifically Chetwood and Midgewater Marshes.
It turns out hobbits are pudgy for a reason! The Shire is crafted-food central, with superior farm land in Hobbiton and the Cook's Guild Hall and superior oven in Michel Delving.
